Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for my brother Papa Joe. He was a true brother and friend to me and my family for over twenty years.  When I needed a helping hand, he was there.  When I needed some wisdom from someone who had been there done that, he was there.  When I needed someone to share my troubles with, he was there.  When I needed someone to share the good times with, he was there.  He was a great example of what it is to be a true brother.  Papa Joe was my brother and my friend.

Lord, it is my prayer that, when my time here on this earth is finished, someone might say some of those things about me.  Then, maybe, I might have learned just a little something from my brother, Papa Joe!
