Put this in your favorite book

you don't have time to read.

Maybe when you see this

it will remind you of me.

I will put one in my book also

and when I have time to care.

I will open up my favorite book

to see if you're still there.

Maybe I will take the time

to call and check on you.

And if you get the time

you can check on me too.

Aren't we both so lucky

to have so many friends.

That know without a phone call

their friendship does not end.

Because when we finally contact

it seems no time has passed.

This is the way it is with friendships,

You know will always last.
